EFS Sundet
The place by the river
EFS Sundet is a conference- and camp site owned and operated by EFS Luleå. Sundet has a very beautiful location by the Lule River, a few kilometers from Luleå center. Between Luleå and Sundet there are cycle paths of about 5 kilometers. At Sundet there are also beautiful walking paths with river views, a meditation trail and many restful places for quiet moments. We also have good opportunities for an active life, with e.g. club, beach volleyball, fishing and football. During the summer, confirmation camps, sports and creative camps as well as hut building camps are held.
The summer café and campsite are open during the period June - August, but the premises can be rented most of the year. The café serves ice cream, home-baked coffee bread, crispy waffles, hot sandwiches and cold and hot drinks. If you want to rent a room / cottage for overnight stays, or camp in a tent or caravan, there are caravan pitches and a service building with opportunities for showering and cooking.
Every Sunday in summer, worship is celebrated in the chapel at 10 a.m. with serving afterwards. On Wednesday evenings at 19 pm there is devotion or mass down by the water. "The Mustard Seed Community" (an ecumenical Christian community that lives together at Sundet) also holds prayer and hymn gatherings during the weeks.
